About the Artist
My art teacher at school wanted me
to become a professional artist, but I chose primary school teaching
instead!
Since retirement I've had a chance
to renew my interest in oil painting, but I have recently discovered
pastels, which I love. I have also discovered a talent for painting
animals, both pets and wildlife. My friends have cajoled me into
sharing my work with you.
I am happy to take commissions for
pet portraits. These are all done on velour paper which give them a
'strokable' look.
I am also experimenting with
landscapes on this lovely paper - particularly Scottish scenes.
I will shortly be embarking on a
series of paintings with an African theme, so I hope you will return
to view my new work
