Buying Art on Paint
Impressions |
|
|
- You can
find artwork either by browsing the galleries or
using the site 'search' for artist, type of work
(eg. watercolour, pastel, photograph), general
title (eg. 'Venice') or specific title (eg.
'Venice Canalside').
- Our artists
handle all their own sales and usually
payment will be by cheque paid to and sent
directly to the artist. Their contact details
will be provided in their Galleries. Most
artists are very prompt in responding to
enquiries but should you have any difficulties,
you can also
contact us about any artists' work on this
website.
- Artists
despatch all work themselves directly from
their own studios and you can arrange a mutually
convenient method and date of the delivery.
RETURNING ARTWORK
We are confident you will be delighted
with artwork you buy from our artists. However,
if you change your mind when you receive the
artwork, you are covered by a 7 day money back
guarantee.
-
You are entitled, by UK law,
to return an item undamaged in its
original received condition within 7 days of
purchase and receive a full refund, less
the postage and packaging costs charged to
you. You must notify us in writing
(letter or email) within 7 working days if
you wish to return a purchase.
-
You must either package the
item in its original packaging or similar to
ensure its safe delivery and to return it
by the same means it was delivered
to you at your own cost. You
will need to arrange any return with the
individual artist concerned. Paint
Impressions does not handle artists artwork
under any circumstances. However, if you
need advice about this, please
email us.
-
NOTE: The above
legal entitlement does not apply to
personalised items, for example any
commissioned artwork or photograph of
someone, somewhere or something personal to
yourself.
Art Arriving Damaged or
Lost in Transit is Rare
-
Our artists are advised how
to package their artwork to a high standard
to avoid possible damage in transit. As a
result, it is very unusual for this to
happen. However, should you be
unfortunate, or if your item appears to have
been lost in transit, please contact the
artist straight away as they will have
proof of postage and insurance against
damage in transit.
Please make sure you retain
any evidence of damage before returning the
item for a refund.
