After training in
graphic art at King Alfred College,
Winchester, I went on to teach until my
retirement. I paint mainly in oils, using a
palette knife and brushes. I also use soft
pastel.
I am
interested in portraying the effect of
light on the landscape. I have exhibited
widely throughout Wales and I'm a member of
local open studios. I won first prize in a
competition run by the local newspaper and
have had work accepted for many open
exhibitions.
