I am a professional
artist living and working in the UK. My preferred medium is pastels
and my inspiration comes from my passion for the landscape which I
enjoy for, luscious colour, crunchy textures and fleeting light
effects. Much of my work portrays my native UK in its many moods and
of course, my favourite place on the planet, Italy!
I also paint bold,
colourful florals. I aim to represent each bloom in a surreal,
photorealistic manner by exaggerating colour and light effects.
There are so many beautiful flowers, I am never stuck for
inspiration.
I have exhibited in
many group exhibitions in the UK and abroad and my work is hung in
homes all over the world.
I'm a Professional Associate of the
S.A.A.
and a professional member of the International Oil Pastel
Society. I also have a B.Ed (Hons) Art & Design and run art
workshops for art groups and societies.
